  APRIL 19TH  CARD RESULTS

Three blondes and a brunette made up the first tag bout of the evening, as Kirsten Dunst and Julia Stiles battled Natasha Henstridge and Amanda Peet, and, off the bell, Stiles took the fight to Peet, going behind the older woman off the opening tie and slamming a series of forearm shivers into the back of her head before taking her to the mat with a Russian leg sweep and rolling right into a cover for the first two count of the bout. Peet was slow to rise, and, when she did so, Stiles doubled her over with a boot to the gut, applied the side headlock, dragged her to the corner where Kirsten waited, and slammed her head repeatedly off the turnbuckle. Then, she tagged Dunst and turned the headlock over to her partner. Kirsten immediately went for the bulldog, but Peet popped her head free at the last second, leaving Dunst to crash, awkwardly, to the mat. Amanda then wobbled to her corner and tagged in Henstridge. Natasha immediately tied up a rising Dunst, drove her back into the ropes, and wore her out with a series of knee lifts to the belly before scoop slamming her to the mat. Kirsten was slow to rise, and, when she did so, Natasha scooped her up again and body slammed her to the canvas, dropping an elbow across the chest, then climbing to the top rope and hitting the moonsault. A cover and a three count followed, giving Henstridge the win.

Tag team action continued next with the blonde/brunette team of Scarlett Johansson and Hilary Swank battling redhead Jenna Fischer and brunette Rashida Jones, and, right off the bell, Swank took the fight to Fischer, rocking her rival back into the ropes with a series of hard right hands to the chin before sending her for the ride. On the way back, however, Fischer ducked a clothesline attempt, slipped behind her rival, and dropped her with a neckbreaker. That quickly, it was Jenna who was hooking the leg for the first two count of the bout. Swank was very slow to rise, and, when she did so, Jenna doubled her up with a boot to the gut and dropped her with a DDT. A cover again netted the redhead a two count. With Swank now even slower to her feet, Jenna tagged in the fresh Rashida, who immediately rocked Hilary with a pair of right hands, then went for the Irish whip. Swank reversed, sending Jones for the ride instead, and flattened her with a mafia kick on the way back. Hilary didn't cover, instead tagging in the fresh ScarJo, who greeted the rising Jones with three rights to the head and a hard Irish whip in. On the way back, Johansson hit the round kick, sending Rashida crashing to the canvas. The blonde wasted no time applying the cross-arm breaker in the middle of the ring. Jones struggled for about 30 seconds, but, unable to escape or get to the ropes, tapped out her submission.

It was blonde vs. brunette in the first singles match of the night, with Cat Deeley battling Pauley Perrette, and it was the bigger Pauley who took control early, tying up Cat, driving her back into the ropes, doubling her up with three knee lifts to the belly, then sending her crashing to the mat with a high hip toss. Cat was up quickly, only to be turned inside out and sent crashing to the mat with a running clothesline. Perrette then bounced off the ropes and hit the splash. Right on the upraised knees of the blonde. Pauley crumpled to the mat and stayed there as the blonde slowly got to her feet and shook the cobwebs. She then put the boots to her rival before pulling her up by the hair, slamming two knees into her belly, and planting her with a DDT. Cat rolled back to her feet, waited for Pauley to rise, and hit the boot to the gut and the DDT a second time. A stunned Perrette was then easy prey for the blonde's figure-four. Pauley tried to turn over or get to the ropes, but could do neither. Finally, in too much pain to continue, she tapped out her submission.

Another blonde/brunette battle was next with Stacy Kiebler and Rihanna climbing into the squared circle, and it was Kiebler who took command early, rocking the brunette with a series of high kicks to the chin that sent her staggering back into the ropes. Kiebler then used a series of knife-edge chops across the chest to set up an Irish whip, but the brunette reversed into a short-arm clothesline that sent Kiebler crashing to the canvas. Rihanna immediately dropped the elbow across the chest and hooked the leg, but Stacy kicked out at two. The brunette kept the pressure on, pulling the older woman to her feet and doubling her up with three knee lifts to the belly. Rihanna then applied the front face lock, but Stacy was having none of it, countering with a double-leg takedown and keeping the legs to go right into a Boston crab. That quickly, the brunette was in both pain and trouble, but she refused to submit, instead slowly working her way to the ropes to grab hold and force a break. Rihanna was very slow to pull herself up on the ropes, and, when she did so, Kiebler rocked her with a series of snap kicks to the chin, then whipped her off the ropes and finished her with a spin kick on the way back. A cover and a three count followed, giving the blonde the victory.

Brunettes Angie Harmon and Maria Menounos were next, and it didn't take Maria long to take control, rocking Harmon with a series of elbows to the side of the head off the opening tie before doubling her over with a knee lift to the belly and pounding her to her knees with three elbows to the back of the head. A snap kick to the chin sent Angie sprawling to her back and Maria immediately hooked the leg for the first two count of the bout. Menounos kept the pressure on, pulling Angie up by the hair and lacing her with a pair of knife-edge chops across the chest before sending her for the ride. On the way back, however, Harmon leapfrogged a back body drop attempt, went all the way through, and flattened Maria with a high cross body on the return trip. Angie hooked the leg for a two count of her own. A winded Menounos was slow to rise, and, when she did so, Angie hit the boot to the gut and applied the side headlock. Menounos, however, shot her off the hold and into the ropes, stopping her cold with a boot to the gut of her own off the bounce back. Maria immediately took advantage, hitting the one-arm bulldog, then rolling Angie to her back for the cover and the three count.

Brunettes Sophia Bush and Leighton Meester were next, and the two tore into one another right off the bell, exchanging rights and lefts until Meester ducked a right hand, slipped behind Bush, and applied the tight waist. Sophia, however, countered with a series of back elbows and a jawbreaker that left Meester stunned on the mat. Bush quickly hooked the leg, but Leighton kicked out at two. Sophia kept the pressure on, hauling her rival up by the hair and rocking her with three forearm smashes to the chin before whipping her hard into a corner. Leighton crashed in back first and Bush charged, thinking splash, but Meester spun away at the last second, leaving Sophia to splash the unforgiving turnbuckle. Bush slowly slipped down the ropes, ending up draped over the bottom rope, an open invitation for Leighton, who backed into the opposite ropes and hit a perfect MiG-dive. Bush flopped to the canvas, where Leighton hooked the leg, but Sophia got a foot on the ropes to break the count. Leighton kept the pressure on, hauling her rival up by the hair and sending her for the ride before flattening her with a clothesline on the way back. Leighton then rolled the dazed Bush to her belly, hit the Hellbow, rolled her to her back, and hooked the leg for the three count and the win.

The semi-finals of the Queen of the Small Screen Tournament began next with blondes Hayden Panettiere and Kaley Cuoco doing battle, and it didn't take the bigger Kaley long to take command, overpowering Hayden off the opening tie, scooping her overhead and body slamming her to the mat. That quickly, Cuoco was covering for the first two count of the bout. Panettiere was slow back to her vertical base, and, when she got there, Kaley rocked her with a pair of right hands and sent her for the ride. On the way back, however, Hayden used the baseball slide to go between the legs, popped up behind Cuoco, and, when Kaley spun to face her, hit the boot to the gut and the DDT. Panettiere wasted no time turning Kaley over and hooking the leg, but Cuoco kicked out at two. Hayden waited for her rival to get back to her feet before snapping three kicks into her chin and going for the Irish whip. Cuoco reversed it, sending the smaller woman for the ride instead and stopping her cold with a boot to the gut on the way back. Kaley immediately followed up with the downward spiral, rolling Hayden to her back and hooking the leg for the three count that sent Ms. Cuoco to the finals.

There was one spot left in the Queen Of The Small Screen Tournament finals, and both brunette Nina Dobrev and redhead Amanda Righetti wanted it. Off the bell, the bigger Amanda took command, tying up the younger woman and driving her back toward the ropes. Just before her back hit, however, Nina used a duck under to go behind, slam five forearm shivers into the back of Amanda's head, and plant her with a German suplex with a bridge. That quickly the referee was counting, but Amanda got a shoulder up at two. Nina beat the redhead to her feet, and, when Amanda rose, hit the boot to the gut and applied the front face lock. Righetti, however, countered with a double-leg takedown and used the legs to catapult Dobrev over the top rope to crash to the floor below. Amanda took a second to gather herself, then rolled outside and scoop slammed Nina on the concrete floor. Twice. She then rolled the dazed Dobrev back into the ring, waited for her to stagger to her feet, and rocked her with a series of hard right hands before whipping her off the ropes. On the way back, Righetti caught her rival by the throat and finished her with the throat-lift power bomb. A cover and a three count later, Righetti joined Cuoco in the finals.
